Jenna Ortega said a rumor of her dating Johnny Depp was one of the ‘worst’
This is the second time Ortega has mentioned – and debunked – the rumor
The 22-year-old admitted that had never even met 61-year-old Depp
Jenna Ortega has once again addressed romance rumors about Johnny Depp – and her answer hasn’t changed at all.
In a promotional video for their new film Hurry Up Home, Ortega and The Weeknd sat down with Complex for a ‘GOAT Talk,’ where they discussed the best and worst things about their lives.
The Weeknd asked Ortega, ‘What is the worst rumor you’ve heard about yourself?’
She then replied, ‘Well I’ve already said the Johnny Depp thing where we were in a relationship allegedly.’
The Weekend, incredulous, then responded, ‘What?’
‘Never met him,’ Ortega, 22, said of the 61-year-old actor.
The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – said that he had never heard about the rumor.
But Ortega went on to explain that it was so widespread and consistent, that she would have people on set asking her how it was going between her and Depp.

Jenna Ortega has once again addressed romance rumors about Johnny Depp – and her answer hasn’t changed at all
‘”What the f**k are you talking about?”‘ she would declare in response.
Ortega first debunked the rumors when she was asked about the ‘craziest’ rumor she ever heard about herself by BuzzFeed Celeb.
And similarly, Ortega said it was her rumored romantic link to Depp.
The whispers of their alleged relationship began when it was circulating that they were potentially working on the Beetlejuice sequel together – something Depp’s team fervently denied along with the relationship.
‘Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her,’ Depp’s rep said when the rumors first arose.
‘He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be.
‘He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumors that are intended to harm his reputation and career.’

This is the second time Ortega
Ortega was more humorous about the rumor, saying that when her then-costar Richard E. Grant had asked about her and Depp, she had simply laughed and said ‘I don’t know that person.’
And it seems as though eight months later, nothing has changed.
Ortega and The Weeknd quickly moved on from that, posing the question to him instead.
He went on to say that the worst rumor he had heard about himself was that he was short.
‘I’m 6’2′ so like… they gotta dead that rumor,’ The Weeknd said, to which Ortega responded, ‘so true.’
The Weeknd is in fact 5ft8.
Ortega – who stands at 5ft1 – joked that she hears similar rumors about herself, even though she’s ‘right there’ underneath The Weeknd.
