Jenna Ortega and Thing are back at Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday Addams and her smirk will return to Netflix in August, set to plague our TV screens with gothic fun once more. The new installment will air in two parts with the first set of episodes streaming on Aug. 6, and the second batch on Sept. 3.
Netflix, perhaps intentionally, dropped a new sneak-peek teaser for season 2 on Wednesday, with Jenna Ortega back in the titular role and ready to do her “best work in the dark.” The trailer shows the macabre Addams daughter getting frisked by TSA in Newark, new classmates whose supernatural leanings remain to be seen, and family-favorite Uncle Fester. Tim Burton’s reboot became a smash hit with viewers when it debuted on the platform in 2022. According to Netflix, season 1 is the most-watched English-language TV series of all time on the platform, snatching the position from Stranger Things season 4. Both Burton and Ortega returned for season 2, and teamed up for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice last year.
The streamer’s upcoming new installment which features Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Thandie Newton, Christopher Lloyd, Evie Templeton and Owen Painter among those joining the cast. Returning talent includes Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as Wednesday’s parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams, with Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester and Moosa Mostafa, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday and Victor Dorobantu as Thing.
