Bombshell claim that Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson are ‘talking’ and want to return to their show – as shock jock breaks his silence on split
The epic bust-up between Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson may be coming to an end.
A bombshell report has revealed that the pair are back in contact – and hoping to return to The Kyle and Jackie O Show, together.
Sandilands and Henderson are ‘talking and want to do radio again’, a source told The Daily Telegraph on Monday evening.
The tentative talks are ‘paving the way for the duo to return to the airwaves’, the publication claimed.
‘The ball will be in ARN’s court as to how this goes forward,’ the source alleged.
KIIS FM’s parent company ARN announced last week that Henderson’s $100 million contract had been terminated after she told executives she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands‘ following his harsh on-air comments that left her in tears.

However, in a statement issued through her manager Gemma O’Neill this week, the 51-year-old stated she ‘did not quit or resign’, that she was ‘deeply saddened… [by] the possibility of the show ending’, and that her exit ‘has come as a shock to me’.
ARN provided written notice to Sandilands stating that it considers his behaviour during the show on February 20 to be ‘an act of serious misconduct which is in breach of ARN’s service agreement with Quasar Media.’
Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else he faces termination.
The radio titan has ‘called in lawyers’ and is ‘preparing to sue’ ARN should his $100 million contract be terminated following the collapse of KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, The Australian reported on Thursday.
Daily Mail has reached out to Sandilands and Henderson for comment.
Kyle, 54, broke his silence on his split with Jackie as he returned to his judging role on Australian Idol on Monday night, after days of unexplained absence.
As the spectacular fallout with his The Kyle and Jackie O Show co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson continues, the KIIS FM star made some pointed comments when contestant Charlie Moon performed With a Little Help from My Friends.
‘Great performance, great song choice, beautiful delivery and a great message, we all need to get by with a little help from our friends,’ Sandilands said.

In heartbreaking scenes, Sandilands then appeared to refer to Henderson directly.
‘This week has been tough for me. I had a falling out with a very close friend,’ a sombre Kyle admitted.
Sandilands had been missing on recent episodes of Australian Idol, sparking concern about whether he would be returning to the Channel Seven show.
His absence coincided with the recent on-air clash with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show.
The radio star had not been featured in five recent audition episodes, with his absence left unexplained while 2006 runner-up Jessica Mauboy sat in Kyle’s seat.
It is believed that the episodes Kyle was absent from were filmed on the evening of Friday, February 20, several hours after he had an explosive on-air clash with his co-star Jackie, which resulted in her leaving the show.
