This July, Netflix will premiere its new crime drama series, headlined by Eric Bana, Sam Neill, Wilson Bethel, and Rosemarie DeWitt. The promotion continues with the release of a brand-new teaser and all-new stills.
The new images are accompanied by a 53-second teaser that provides a broader insight into what we can expect from the new limited series, setting up the mystery and stunning scenery that’ll be featured throughout the six-episode series.
Set at the iconic California National Park of Yosemite (although filmed in British Columbia, Canada, in both Vancouver and Maple Ridge) Bana plays the role of a special agent who, along with his new partner who is wet behind the ears but thrown in the deep end as they investigate a brutal death that’s taken place within their jurisdiction.
“People come here to explore. They see maybe 10% of the park. Things happened different out here,” Bana says as Kyle Turner in the new teaser, which switches to a young girl who looks like she’s being chased through the vast yet stunning park.
The show appears to be a blend of Yellowstone, with its stunning vistas, and Ozark, with its dark atmosphere, along with a touch of the 2022 limited series Keep Breathing, which starred Melissa Barrera.
Thomas Bezeucha, Neasa Haridman, and Nick Murphy are among the directors for the limited series, each of whom directed two episodes apiece. Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith serve as showrunners and executive producers.
