The Lincoln Lawyer received an official renewal in January 2025, with filming set to begin in Los Angeles for the fourth season in April. Now, several months later, the cast and crew have confirmed that filming on season 4 has officially wrapped.
Adapting The Law of Innocence, season 4 promises to be the most exciting and most dangerous for our protagonist yet, with Mickey Haller now in the firing line and most importantly, now the defendant in his case as he’s been accused of murder. This season will see a host of brand-new faces in addition to plenty of returning familiar faces.
Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez led the tributes on the news of the wrap, writing on Instagram with Humphrey writing, “Thank you to our incredible cast, crew and production team for a fantastic season 4! We can’t wait to bring it to everyone very soon!”
Rodriguez followed up, saying, “Thank you to the most amazing cast, crew, writers, and staff! We are so lucky to have this family. Congrats on a Season Four wrap!”
Constance Zimmer, a newcomer to the show for season 4 and playing the role of Dana Berg, the lead prosecutor on the case against Mickey, posted a wrap post on Instagram alongside a paragraph about working on the series (pasted below but cleaned up):
“That’s a wrap on Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer! I want to thank Netflix, A&E Studios, and everyone involved—this incredible cast, crew, and creative team, including Daily N. Rod, Ted Humphrey, Matthew L. Berman, and Michael Connelly. I’m thrilled for you to meet Dana Berg and see what we’ve crafted together to bring her to life as one of my most unique characters. Though I can’t share many behind-the-scenes photos just yet, stay tuned – there are plenty of fun moments to come! I made friends for life on this project, and working in Los Angeles was truly a dream come true.”

Paula Garcés will return to direct this season, having previously worked on episode 7 in season 3. Directing episode 9 in season 4, Garcés also attended the wrap party, writing a heartfelt post about how lucky she feels to have directed this season.
Some additional (fantastic) pictures were also shared overnight by first camera assistant Joe Cheung, depicting some of the night shoots and locations that season 4 shot:

No word on when The Lincoln Lawyer will be returning to our screens as it now heads through an extensive post-production period, which includes editing, ADR, dubbing, and subtitling, among all the other processes a show goes through to get to your Netflix accounts. Our best guess still is sometime in 2026, but fingers crossed, this could squeeze in before the end of the year.
