The book-to-movie adaptation would likely have explored the same story, with Jacob and his friends finding another time loop, and learning of Miss Wren, another ymbryne, who they track down to potentially help Miss Peregrine turn back into a human.

Interestingly, 20th Century Fox, the distributors of the 2016 movie, were originally so eager to adapt Ransom Riggs’ first novel that they actually bought the rights to the book before it was even published.
