Last week’s episode of Landman was an all-timer. The fourth episode of Season 2 (“Dancing Rainbows”) provided some much-needed backstory on Tommy’s (Billy Bob Thornton) childhood as the family traveled to Canadian, Texas, for Tommy’s mother’s funeral.
The episode was a showcase for Sam Elliott, who played the role of a conflicted yet grieving husband to perfection as the Norris family wrestled with the complicated legacy of “Dottie.”
