Patrick Mahomes‘ mother, Randi Martin, has announced that she is putting the Chiefs quarterbacks’ childhood home in Tyler, Texas up for sale.
Martin is selling the home after her sons, Patrick and younger brother Jackson Mahomes, bought her a $825,000 house in Texas.
The home where Mahomes would sleep after his games at Whitehouse High School is on the market for much less than the value of Martin’s new residence, only for $285,000, per Realtor.com.
Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, was also involved of the purchase of the new home for her mother-in-law of the newly built four-bedroom house.
Randi told the outlet putting her longtime home up for sale was a ‘bittersweet’ move, as she will move with her daughter Mia.
‘It’s bittersweet but it’s time for a change and Mia and I are so excited to have a new place to decorate and make a home and now I have a large space for those grand babies,’ Randi told the outlet.

‘There were a lot of tears and laughter and memories in that house but it’s time to let a new family start to build their dream there now!’
The Tyler home was put on the market on Saturday after last changing ownership in 2006.
The soon-to-be-former home of the Mahomes family has three bedrooms with carpet flooring and large windows.
Mahomes’ personal realtor was revealed by the outlet to be Tristan X. Mosher of Coldwell Banker Apex, who described the home as a ‘chance to own a special piece of East Texas history, the childhood home of NFL star Patrick Mahomes!’
‘Tucked away on a quiet street at 3110 Oleander Dr., this home offers both privacy and convenience, with easy access to local shops, dining, and schools.’
