There were hundreds of new leads in Amy Bradley’s disappearance after the release of the Netflix docuseries Amy Bradley Is Missing, a source close to production told The Hollywood Reporter
Three of the leads are “very significant,” the insider said
Amy’s family believes she is still alive and they are holding onto hope
Nearly three decades after Amy Bradley’s disappearance, investigators have multiple new leads.
While on a cruise with her family, then-23-year-old Amy disappeared from a Royal Caribbean ship on March 24, 1998, in Curaçao, and she has been missing ever since. After the Netflix docuseries Amy Bradley Is Missing released this summer, it thrust the 27-year-old case back into the spotlight — and new leads have since come to light, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Oct. 10, citing a source close to production.
Since the popular, three-episode docuseries hit the streaming platform in July, hundreds of new leads have been flagged to Amy’s family and authorities, three of which are “very significant,” the anonymous source told THR.
Before she vanished, Amy was at the cruise ship’s disco with her brother, Brad, other passengers and crew members. The next morning, despite an extensive search of the ship, she could not be found, baffling the family, passengers and crew — and sparking an FBI investigation that is still currently open.

Amy Bradley Is Missing spawned a constellation of theoretical explanations, including an accidental fall from the balcony and an abduction aboard the vessel by sex traffickers. More evidence that might support the latter theory has arisen in the wake of the docuseries, according to THR.
On the night Amy disappeared, a female bartender on the ship was allegedly heard telling passengers and crew members, “Señorita kidnapped! Señorita kidnapped!” The bartender, whom the source said does not speak much English, was not included in the Netflix series because her identity was unknown — until now, THR reported.
She has since come forward and is now being interviewed by investigators, the production source told the outlet.
The insider also told THR that in the wake of the July docuseries, the Bradley family has hired private investigators with funds seemingly obtained as a result of the show. Along with the FBI, they are now in Curaçao “and other surrounding countries,” the source said.
Another lead comes from the missing-person website dedicated to Amy. The insider told THR that there has been a new, “highly suspicious” hit to the site, which is monitored in case Amy visits it to feel connected to her family, or her potential kidnappers visit to check up on the status of the ongoing investigation.

The hit was traced to a device on a boat near Barbados, per THR. The source also told the outlet there has been a new potential sighting of Amy in the Caribbean country.
The final lead involves new evidence of a potential child Amy may have had, which was mentioned but not explored in-depth in the true crime docuseries, THR reported, citing the same source.
3 New and ‘Very Significant’ Leads Identified in Relation to Amy Bradley Disappearance, Thanks to Netflix Doc: Report
Investigators allegedly received hundreds of new leads after the release of the popular Netflix docuseries ‘Amy Bradley Is Missing’ in July
In the decades since Amy’s mysterious disappearance, there have been more than a half-dozen reported sightings. The FBI has investigated several of the reported sightings, in both the Caribbean region and the U.S., to no avail.
The Bradley family continues to explore every theory, but from the very beginning, never considered it possible that Amy accidentally fell overboard or jumped to her death by suicide. They also firmly believe she is alive.
“People can’t understand the level of hope that we’ve maintained,” her brother, Brad, previously said. “We’re still waiting for that call.”
