That didn’t take long! Season 4 of the Spanish comedy series Alpha Males only hit back in January, and a new batch of six episodes has just been lined up for April 17, 2026.
After four seasons of failing upward in their quest to dismantle (or accidentally reinforce) their own toxic masculinity, the quintet is facing their most grounded reality check yet. According to the official synopsis, the boys are trading “deconstruction seminars” for the gritty realities of middle age.
Here is what everyone is up to this season:
Santi: Getting radicalized in his single life.
Pedro: Navigating the highs and lows of a brand-new romantic relationship.
Luis: Trapped in the “torture” of messy divorce proceedings.
Raúl: Spiraling down a rabbit hole of self-deconstruction.
Luz, Daniela, and Esther: Experiencing their own chaotic menu of challenges, from terrible dates and a foot-focused OnlyFans account to a “femininity recovery” retreat as the cherry on top.
The central hook for the men this season involves a grand master plan known as “Patriarchal Pact, Inc.”—a commune designed as a “get happy quick” scheme for the buddies to live together. Expect plenty of camper vans, mortgage stress, and custody battles as their utopian “bro-mune” inevitably clashes with the real world.
Season 5 will see the return of the entire principal cast: Fernando Gil, María Hervás, Raúl Tejón, Kira Miró, Gorka Otxoa, Paula Gallego, Fele Martínez, and Raquel Guerrero. Cayetana Cabezas, Marta Hazas, and Paloma Bloyd are also continuing on for the new adventure, while the ensemble officially welcomes fresh additions María Adáñez and Diego Martín.

The Fast-Track Success of Alpha Males
Created by the comedic powerhouses Alberto and Laura Caballero, the show has become a staple for Netflix’s European comedy slate. Produced by their banner Contubernio Films (the hitmakers behind Spanish staples like Aquí no hay quien viva, La que se avecina, El Pueblo, and Muertos S.L.) and directed by Laura Caballero, the production machine for Alpha Males has remained incredibly efficient. While many Netflix originals face long hiatuses between seasons, this series continues to keep fans engaged with almost yearly installments.
Netflix Spain recently teased the new season with a cheeky nod to the group’s incompetence alongside the official release date: “Any history teachers in the house to explain to our #AlphaMales how humanity ended up here? Season 5 drops April 17.”
The show continues to be popular for the streamer despite some of its international spin-offs having already come to an end. The series performs best, naturally, within Spanish-speaking and European markets. According to FlixPatrol data, the show’s home country of Spain leads with a massive 1,351 points accumulated over 186 days, maintaining a high daily average of 7.3 points. Beyond Spain, the series found substantial audiences in Uruguay (887 points), Argentina (610 points), and Croatia (577 points), with Uruguay notably achieving one of the highest daily engagement averages at 6.3. The show also performed well in Portugal and Hungary, both surpassing 300 points and maintaining averages near 5.0. While its reach extended as far as Brazil, France, and Israel, its core popularity remains strongest in Latin America and Southern/Central Europe, often staying in the top charts for several months at a time.
You can also see that it still ranks quite well in the weekly top 10s and has even grown its audience over time, a rarity for Netflix titles:
