The cast of ‘Ransom Canyon’ have their own love lives outside of the show, including Josh Duhamel’s marriage and Minka Kelly’s relationship

Ransom Canyon is bringing plenty of family drama and romance to Netflix, while the show’s stars navigate their own relationships off-screen.

The new Western series, out April 17, is set in Texas Hill Country and follows “the intersecting lives of three ranching families.” April Blair, the show’s creator, executive producer and writer, told Tudum in February 2025, “At its core, Ransom Canyon isn’t just a town. It’s an idea. It’s the painful longing for your first love. It’s the burning desire to protect your family.”

At the helm of the series are Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. He portrays Staten Kirkland, the owner and only occupant of Double K Ranch who is trying to “resist the outside forces” that threaten his land and job. Kelly takes on the role of Quinn O’Grady, who returns back home to Ransom Canyon after a stint as a concert pianist in New York City.

In real life, Duhamel has been married to his wife, Audra Mari, since September 2022. Kelly was previously in a relationship with Trevor Noah but has been dating Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds since November 2022.

Duhamel was previously married to Fergie. After initially meeting in 2004, they got married in 2009 and welcomed their son Axl in 2013. The couple ultimately announced their separation in September 2017, and finalized their divorce in November 2019.

On-screen, Minka Kelly is Quinn O’Grady in Ransom Canyon. Off-screen, she’s been in a relationship with Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons, since November 2022.

He was previously married to Aja Volkman, but the couple announced their split in September 2022 and finalized their divorce in March 2024, which included shared custody of their four children.

Josh Duhamel — who plays Staten Kirkland in Ransom Canyon — has been married to his wife, Audra Mari, since September 2022.

They were first linked in October 2019 and after dating for several years, announced their engagement in January 2022. Duhamel and Mari welcomed their first child together, son Shepherd, in January 2024.

Kelly was also previously in a relationship with comedian Trevor Noah. They began dating in 2020, broke up briefly in May 2021 before getting back together, but officially split in May 2022.

In July 2024, Reynolds opened up to PEOPLE about the early stages of his romance with Kelly. He said that after meeting through a mutual friend, they communicated solely over the phone.

Reynolds explained, “After about a month we met in person, and ever since then, we’ve been attached at the hip. Minka and I are in a really happy, healthy relationship.”

James Brolin may be playing Cap Fuller in the new Netflix series, but in real life, he’s been married to Barbra Streisand since 1998.

They were set up on a blind date on July 1, 1996, and got married on the same day two years later. Streisand was previously married to Elliott Gould, with whom she shares a son, Jason Gould. Brolin was married twice before Streisand and is a father to three children, including actor Josh Brolin.

During a September 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Brolin revealed his secret to his decades-long marriage with Streisand, sharing at the time, “I think everybody needs to be a negotiator. Everybody needs to have patience and know when to take a walk.”

Lizzy Greene and Sean Lew

Lizzy Greene, who plays Lauren Brigman in Ransom Canyon, appears to be in a relationship off-screen.

In an Instagram photo shared on Nov. 6, 2024, she posed with dancer Sean Lew. The post received plenty of hype in the comments, including a message from XO, Kitty star Anna Cathcart, who wrote, “HOTTEST COUPLE EVER????”

Later in the month, on Nov. 25, Greene shared a birthday message dedicated to Lew, calling him “the most golden crafted soul” she’d ever met. The carousel included a photo of the pair posing together in childhood.

On Feb. 14, 2025, Greene and Lew both posted romantic snaps from a photo shoot together, with Greene simply writing in the caption, “happy valentines day.”

Eoin Macken, who plays Davis Collins in Ransom Canyon, is in a relationship with Italian actress Emanuela Postacchini.

The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Bianca Lea Macken, on Oct. 20, 2024.

Months after the birth of their daughter, Macken shared a heartfelt post on social media posing with Postacchini and Bianca. In the caption, he penned a message for both of them, writing, “Levity aside, it’s hard to fathom the love I have for both @emanuelapostacchini and this little sprite … but even more after seeing what a woman has to go through, both during and after pregnancy.”

He described parenthood as a “truly beautiful and humbling experience,” later adding, “In awe and in love with these two magnificent ladies.”

On Ransom Canyon, Marianly Tejada takes on the role of Ellie Catawnee. Off-screen, she’s in a relationship with former baseball player and current MLB agent Steve Bean.

The couple have featured one another on social media over the years. In February 2024, Bean shared a post referring to her as “mi costilla,” which colloquially means “my wife” in Spanish.

Brett Cullen is Senator Samuel “Sam” Kirkland in Ransom Canyon, but in real life, he’s married to actress Michele Little.

Not much is known about the couple’s marriage, though they have been photographed together over the years, including at a gala in February 2007, a red carpet at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in October 2013 and at the Joker premiere in September 2019.

Cullen and Little welcomed their daughter, Harper, on May 26, 1995. According to her website, she is an actor, director, producer and writer. Harper created, produced and wrote a pilot called Good Vibes Only, and launched a dress collection in the spring of 2025.
