Heartland has wrapped up its season 18 run in Canada and has just begun airing in the United States, but it will be a while before some Netflix regions pick up the next batch of 10 episodes. Some will pick it up in 2025 while others will have to wait until 2026. Here’s an updated guide on when you can expect season 18 of Heartland to drop on Netflix in your area.
Season 18 was filmed throughout early 2024 and began airing on CBC (and on CBC Gem) beginning September 29th. The season kicks off with Heartland struggling with competition from Pryce Beef just as Amy agrees to help Nathan Pryce in a sheepdog competition. That’s when Lou, Jack, and Tim begin to feel the strain as a water shortage is on the horizon. The new season consists of 10 episodes in total, airing on CBC between October and December 2024.
All your favorites return, such as Amber Marshall as Amy Fleming-Borden, Shaun Johnston, Michelle Morgan, Chris Potter, Jessica Steen, Michelle Nolden, Ruby and Emmanuella Spencer (who collectively play Lyndy Borden), Baye McPherson, and Drew Davis.
When will Heartland season 18 be on Netflix in the United States?
We’ll begin with Netflix in the United States, which ironically remains both the best and worst place to watch Heartland.
It’s the best in that it’s the only Netflix region with the back catalog of episodes from season 1 onwards. But on the other hand, it’s also the last Netflix region to acquire new season rights. As a result, Season 17 of the show is not yet available on Netflix in the US.
