Chrissy Teigen is setting the record straight amid online critique about her “dirty” bath water in a post shared by her husband, John Legend.
Earlier in the week, John posted a clip of Chrissy washing herself off in the tub in promotion of his skincare brand, Loved01. While the water was indeed brown, Chrissy explained in the video that she was removing her body makeup with a Loved01 exfoliating product.
It would appear that very few people actually listened to the video, however, as people in the comments section lit Chrissy up for being “dirty” – so much so that she felt compelled to respond in an Instagram post of her own.
“Currently getting roasted online for being dirty because no one listened the the audio where I say I’m soaking off body makeup (to shower after!)” she said with a repost of the clip on Wednesday (June 19).
She continued: “Full blown fights in John’s comments. My favorite is ‘baths are not for bathing.’ I love a good old fashioned roasting though, u guys are killing it (it being never touching grass ever).”
In the comments, John added, “Baths are not for bathing is some amazing internet-ness.”
Last fall, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in the stunning town of Lake Como, Italy.
TMZ was on hand when the couple renewed their vows on September 16, which marked the couple’s official anniversary.
They also had their four children — Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren — in tow, and everyone was dressed to the nines.
The couple and their kids were all in black and white, and joined a dinner party full of guests after vow renewal and picture time was over.
The pair originally met back in 2006, when Teigen was cast as a video model in one of John Legend’s videos.
