The actor and former wrestling star tuned 52 on May 2 — and his tequila company Teremana is helping fans celebrate.
Guacamole fans rejoice! Dwayne Johnson might treat you to your next batch of the savory dip in honor of his birthday.
As part of the “Guac on The Rock” campaign he’s running with his tequila brand Teremana, the actor and former wrestling star — who turned 52 on Thursday, May 2 — will pay for your guacamole in participating states from May 1-31.
The purchase of a Teremona-based cocktail is required in certain states to receive the rebate, which will come in the form of a Venmo.
Johnson (who also goes by his wrestling name, The Rock) and Teremana posted a joint Instagram demonstrating how to receive the promotion. All fans have to do is search for a restaurant that serves Teremana, order cocktails and guacamole uring their visit, take a picture of the receipt and then submit the image to GuaconTheRock.com.
“We’re back again baby, this year with FREE GUAC with your @TEREMANA cocktails!!” reads the caption. “For the ENTIRE month of May- get paid to eat guac and enjoy Teremana 🥃.”
The first 100,000 participants who redeem the offer will receive $10 off of their guacamole purchase. The offer is good for one rebate per person.
Residents of Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, Utah, Virginia and Washington are not eligible to participate.
Johnson recently helped P. celebrate its milestone 50th birthday and shared some advice he’d give his younger self in honor of the occasion.
“What I would say is: Keep doing what you’re doing. Let your gut guide you,” he said. “If it feels strange, there’s a reason your gut is speaking to you. Make sure you listen to that voice, and that’s going to serve you for the rest of your life.”
