The ‘Queen of Country’ took the trip with her boyfriend, son and daughter-in-law.

Reba McEntire recently went on a family trip to somewhere new that she says now “tops the list.”

The “Queen of Country” and her boyfriend, Rex Linn, were joined by McEntire’s son and daughter-in-law, Shelby and Marissa Blackstock, when they went on an African safari. The country music star shared photos from their memorable trip with fans on social media on Friday, June 21.

“Of all the places in the world I have been so blessed to visit, Africa tops the list,” McEntire, 69, reflected. “The animals are totally amazing, but it’s the people that I left part of my heart with. #ICant wait to go back and catch it beating. I miss it so….”

The “Fancy” singer shared a handful of snapshots from her trip on Instagram. In the first photo included in her five-part Instagram carousel, the four posed together while standing at the edge of a body of water, the setting sun behind them painting the sky orange and yellow. McEntire and Linn held hands in the next photo included in her post, both dressed for hiking as McEntire held one end of a stick long enough to reach the ground.

Additional photos showed the foursome posing by a safari vehicle, ready and excited for their adventure. The three-time Grammy Award winner closed out her post with a close-up of her face as she gazed out at the landscape, her head protected by a green hat and scarf. It was this final photo that reminded many fans of the singer’s 1990 album Rumor Has It.

“The last photo is giving Rumor Has It—but in the wild. 😍,” one fan commented as another said the photo was “like a Rumor Has It cover art redo.”

“Your last pic is giving me vibes from the Rumor Has It album cover,” another fan agreed.

Others who left comments on the singer’s post were happy to see that the “queen” appeared to have had “an amazing time” on the trip.

“It’s truly one of the best places to visit. The animals will remain in your heart for a long time,” one fan wrote.
