Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson leads a life as large as that of Maui, the character he plays in the Disney musical phenomenon Moana.
But it is thanks to his kids that Johnson is able to do so.
After wrapping up with his recordings for his role in Moana 2, Johnson took to Instagram with a carousel of photos from his studio sessions.
Dwayne Johnson has shared a sweet message about his daughters as he wraps his recordings for Moana 2
In the images, Johnson is seen performing his character’s lines into a microphone as his daughter watches on.
In the series of sweet photos, his daughter can be seen giving her father a fist bump, watching him with awe and filming him as he performs.
“That’s an official wrap (for now) on Maui’s portion of our upcoming Moana 2,” he wrote in the caption.
“As you see I had the greatest motivation to help me push thru [sic] to keep me strong,” he continued expressing his gratitude for his daughter.
“The more down this windy road of life I go, the more I realize that my greatest and most comforting inspiration and joy, is being loved by my daughters. I have a feeling this little one already knows that about her daddy.”
Thousands reacted to the sweet father and daughter moment with many taking to the comment section in awe.

“This is so cute,” one comment read. “You can tell how proud of you she is!”
Johnson is father to three daughters, Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6, who he shares with wife Lauren Hashian, and Simone, 22, who he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
Johnson has been open about how he works “very hard” to raise his daughters “with all the fatherly love [he has] in [his] DNA and soul.”
Last year, Johnson posted a clip from an interview with Trevor Noah in which he speaks about his father’s emotional struggles.
In the caption, he expressed that he hopes to be the kind of father he never had.
“I want to raise my girls with all the stuff that I didn’t get from my dad when I was growing up,” he wrote.
“But I will also pass on to my daughters, all the invaluable qualities my dad passed on to me – grit, work ethic, hunger, cultural pride and even if the love is limited – it’s still love and it’s still powerful. This is what we do, as fathers and men.”
