Over the holiday weekend, the ever-popular Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted being a good Samaritan in the Hamptons, where he came to the rescue of an inebriated guest at a party thrown by his longtime friend, hospitality guru Richie Akiva. According to a witness at the party, DiCaprio took it upon himself to help out a very drunk guy who was “literally falling over.”
The witness recounted. “At one point Leo picked up a very drunk guy, and put him by a pole. The guy was literally falling over. Leo put out his hand on [the pole] so he wouldn’t fall and said, ‘Stay there.'” It seems the guy heeded DiCaprio’s advice and “stayed holding onto the pole.”
The 49-year-old Great Gatsby star was accompanied by his best friend, Tobey Maguire, at the bash, while his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, was in Italy shooting a steamy ad campaign for Dolce and Gabbana with actor Theo James.
Despite being surrounded by “all the girls” at the party, a source confirms that DiCaprio and Ceretti are still very much together, with the couple last seen publicly in May at a Rolling Stones concert.

The star-studded Hamptons event also featured a performance by rapper ASAP Ferg and a guest list that included Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, NBA star James Harden, Kris Jenner’s beau Corey Gamble, and newly single Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader. The DiCaprio-filled weekend didn’t end there, as the actor, along with Maguire and Akiva, were also spotted at a party hosted by Ambra Battilana Gutierrez on the previous Friday.
DiCaprio’s casual yet caring actions at the party showcase his down-to-earth personality, despite his undeniable A-list status. It’s heartwarming to see a celebrity of his caliber take the time to lend a helping hand, even in the relaxed setting of a holiday weekend in the Hamptons. This incident serves as a reminder that even the biggest stars can be kind and compassionate, making a positive impact on those around them.
