Sloane Simon may have lost the battle, but her new coach is ready for her to win the season 26 war.
Did The Voice fans already find the potential winner of season 26? If it’s up to Michael Bublé, the answer may just be yes.
Fans of the NBC series got to watch night one of the Battle Rounds on the October 21 episode, where Sloane Simon and Sydney Sterlace were fighting for a chance to continue on with Gwen Stefani as their mentor. As the two duetted on a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” it was clear Gwen was going to have a tough time deciding who won the round. While she eventually chose Sydney to move on in the competition, Sloane got a major surprise when Michael, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire all vied for a chance to steal her for their respective teams.
As Michael, Snoop and Reba tried to convince Sloane why she should have each of them as her coach, Michael made a bold claim about her future on the show. And as it turned out, he already voiced this opinion earlier on in the day … to her former coach of all people.

“I was devastated when I couldn’t get you to join my team the first time,” he told her in the clip posted on YouTube. “As a matter of fact, this very morning I told Gwen that I felt that you may be the winner of this show, and I’m very happy for you.”
While Michael was adamant about trying to get Sloan on his team, he wasn’t the only one who felt this way about her. Viewers were equally impressed by her vocal performance, and made sure to comment on it.
“Sloane’s voice caught my attention during the auditions. She’s got the looks, the personality and a very sweet tone. No wonder Michael really really wanted her,” one person wrote. “Sloane was clearly the frontrunner. Glad she was stolen 👏👏👏👏,” a different fan added.
It seems that Michael’s statement about Sloane being a front-runner was enough to convince her. We can now keep watching Sloane this season on The Voice an official member of Team Michael.
Now, we just need to wait and see how Michael’s prediction plays out as episodes continue to air.
