The country singer started dating her current boyfriend in 2020.

Reba McEntire, who has been dating her boyfriend Rex Linn since 2020, opened up about whether she would be open to walking down the aisle again as she reflected on her first two marriages.

The country singer revealed in a recent conversation with E! News that, while she doesn’t “have much faith in being bound by a piece of paper or ring,” she would potentially get married again if it was something Rex really wanted.

“If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me,” Reba admitted. “He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”

But for her, a wedding doesn’t appear to be needed for commitment, with Reba saying that she is already “truly committed” to her boyfriend, and they’ve been “pretty much inseparable ever since June 16 of 2020.” On that day, Reba and Rex reunited for dinner after she guest-starred on his show Young Sheldon.

Before dating Rex, Reba was married two times. She tied the knot with a rancher named Charlie Battles in 1976, and they were together until 1987. After the divorce, Reba moved to Nashville, Tenn., to focus on her music.

Two years later, she married her manager, Narvel Blackstock. The couple was together for over 25 years before getting divorced in 2015. They welcomed a son named Shelby in 1990, while Reba was also stepmother to Narvel’s three children, Chassidy, Shawna, and Brandon. Between her divorce from Narvel and her romance with Rex, Reba also had a serious, long-term relationship with photographer Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo.

Reba often raves about her relationship with Rex, whom she has known for over 30 years. She described their attraction during the 2020 dinner date as “like a magnet” while talking about Rex in a recent interview, adding that he’s a “sweetheart.”
