The Voice fans were not happy with the finale of Season 26, calling it ‘underwhelming’ online.
Fans of The Voice were not happy about part one of the Season 26 finale.
Many viewers have taken to social media to slam the “underwhelming” first part of the hit NBC show’s end.
Some didn’t hold back when they wrote online that it “sucked” because of the “monotone” performances from the finalists.
On Monday night, the five finalists, Danny Joseph, Jeremy Beloate, Shye, Sydney Sterlace and Sofronio Vasquez took to the stage for the last time to perform songs they thought would win the coveted $100,000 and recording contract.
Each artist performed twice during the episode, a ballad and an uptempo number.

However, some viewers weren’t impressed by the artists’ song choices.
Reacting to the finale performances, one person on Reddit started a new thread and wrote: “Just my opinion, but I’m really underwhelmed with the singers that are left as well as the song choices for the finale.”
One fans responded: “The lineup itself is great, it’s just that none of them performed up to their usual standard except Shye and Sofronio.”
Another agreed: “Same, nobody really wowed me tonight,” as someone else penned: “I’ve only been loosely keeping up with this season but every time I’m watching I’m like ‘This is what we’re left with?'”
Meanwhile, fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, were also quick to slam part one of the season finale.
“#TheVoice What is going on? Everyone sounds so weak tonight. Honestly, Shye ruined that song. Her voice was so monotone and weak. This season’s final sucks so far,” wrote one.

Another added: “Everyone has not done well!!!!! Love Sofronio though. He’s doing great,” as a third person said: “The voice is so cringe now … these finalists are extremly underwhelming #TheVoice.”
A fourth commented: “These finals song choices are so underwhelming, let alone the performances #TheVoice.”
Last week, fans online complained about the episode’s sound issues.
December 2’s episode saw the top eight artists, Adam Bohanan, Christina Eagle, Danny Joseph, Jan Dan, Jeremy Beloate, Shye, Sydney Sterlace, and Sofronio Vasquez perform for viewers and coaches Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé.
First, the eight contestants sang a solo song and then a second track with rockstar Sting – who served as a Mega Mentor for Team Snoop and Team Gwen.
However, the episode’s sound was off.
Taking to social media, fans slammed the show for being “so loud” which impacted how they heard the singers.
On X one wrote: “#thevoice Why tf this ‘background’ music so loud? I can’t even hear the singers.”
Another added: “They always have the music way too loud during the lives for whatever reason. So loud I couldn’t even hear Carson taking us to commercials.”
A third said: “The audio is awful on the show tonight. All you can hear is echo and background music.”

Meanwhile, on Reddit, fans shared similar sentiments, with one penning: “Maybe I need a new TV, I’m also kind of grateful because I’m not enjoying the singers, but I also can’t hear them sing. Turn up the mics.”
A second wrote: “Happens every season for some reason,” as a third added: “The Voice is always like that. I have to max my speakers to hear. Every other show I have the volume at like 60%.”
The 27th season of The Voice is set to premiere on February 3, 2025, on NBC.
Michael Buble, who is a coach on the current season, will be returning, with Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Gwen Stefani sitting this one out.
