Agatha All Along premiered with its first two episodes, and while audience reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, critics are less impressed with the show’s campy tone. We’ve already explored intriguing elements from the premiere, such as the Witches’ Road and Blackheart. However, it appears that these episodes also introduced a character who could play a significant role in the future of the MCU.
This character is linked to Joe Locke’s role as “The Teen.” Although Locke and the show have been secretive about his character’s identity, subtitles revealed before the premiere that “The Teen” is named Billy. This strongly suggests that the character could be Billy Kaplan, also known as Wiccan from the comics and Wanda’s reincarnated son.
It was pretty clear that Locke was playing Wiccan, given his connections to both Wanda and Agatha, his involvement in witchcraft, and his portrayal as a gay character on the show—traits that align with Wiccan from the comics.
In one scene, as Teen is driving, his phone lights up with an incoming call. The contact name isn’t shown, but it’s saved under “boyf,” hinting at a significant personal connection.

Fans have quickly speculated that Teen’s boyfriend might be Hulkling, Wiccan’s comic book love interest. Hulkling, whose real name is Teddy Altman, is the son of a Kree warrior and a Skrull princess, making him a hybrid with powers from both alien races.
In the comics, Wiccan and Hulkling first meet as members of the Young Avengers, and if Teen’s boyfriend turns out to be Hulkling, it would represent a significant departure from their comic book origins.
Their relationship evolves from friendship into a romantic partnership, becoming a central and defining element of their characters. As one of Marvel’s prominent LGBTQ+ superhero couples, their love story adds considerable emotional depth.
Fans have long anticipated Hulkling and Wiccan’s MCU debut due to their importance in the Young Avengers and potential connections to future storylines involving Wanda.
