Following Billy Maximoff’s MCU debut, ‘Agatha All Along’ showrunner Jac Schaeffer addressed what we can expect from the series finale and whether there’s a chance Young Avengers are set in any way.

Having spent some time with the MCU, Schaeffer mentioned she doesn’t have a specific plan for handling the Young Avengers. However, she emphasized that she’s a big fan of the team, saying:

I don’t have anything for that, but I love those characters, and really, I love the actors. I just think if Young Avengers were to happen like, man, that is a murderer’s row. It would be great.

Schaeffer may not have a current plan for the Young Avengers, but that doesn’t mean she can’t develop one later.

From her comments, it appears she would be open to exploring the Young Avengers characters if given the opportunity—especially with the excitement surrounding Wiccan’s debut, there’s a good chance we’ll see the team sooner rather than later.

The only “Wanda-related” project confirmed thus far is Vision Quest, which is set to begin filming next year and is expected to release in 2026. This will be the third installment in the trilogy following WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Additionally, Wanda is rumored to take a central role in the MCU with her own film, more character-driven series, and appearances in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

While the Young Avengers project isn’t officially confirmed, with characters like Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, America Chavez, Scott’s daughter, Billy (and possibly Tommy soon), Marvel is clearly laying the groundwork for the team to appear in the near future!

The only major tease we’ve received so far was when Ms. Marvel visited Kate Bishop at the end of The Marvels. However, who knows—maybe we’ll get another hint in next week’s finale of Agatha All Along!
