Teen in Agatha All Along and the Scarlet Witch in WandaVision's finaleI’m even more convinced about “Teen’s” connection to the Scarlet Witch in Agatha All Along after learning something new about his mysterious sigil. The real identity of Heartstopper star Joe Locke’s “Teen” has remained a mystery since his MCU debut in Agatha All Along’s premiere, but I am one of many who have become convinced that he is Billy Kaplan, the resurrected version of Billy Maximoff, one of the Scarlet Witch’s sons. This seems even more likely to me after a revelation in Agatha All Along episode 4.

It was explained in Agatha All Along episode 3, “Through Many Miles of Tricks and Trials,” that a sigil is a spell placed on an individual with the goal of hiding them. In “Teen’s” case, the sigil hides his identity from witch folk, censoring any personal information about him, which has piqued the interest of Agatha Harkness’ new MCU coven. I’m very intrigued about “Teen’s” sigil, even though I reckon I know what’s hidden beneath it, and Agatha All Along episode 4 has only increased my curiosity.

Teen May Not Remember Putting The Sigil On Himself

Teen’s Sigil Could Have Hidden His Identity From Even Himself

After being injured by Alice Wu-Gulliver’s generational curse and being saved by Jennifer Kale in Agatha All Along episode 4, “If I Can’t Reach You/Let My Song Teach You,” “Teen” asks Agatha Harkness about his sigil. Though she denies having placed the sigil on him, Agatha notes that she wouldn’t know, as the sigil also works on the witch who cast it. This reminded me of a theory suggesting “Teen” may have placed the sigil on himself, as this could actually be the case now, since he wouldn’t even remember casting it.

If “Teen” had placed the sigil on himself, he may have forgotten major pieces of his life. This could mean he doesn’t actually remember his own identity, and perhaps may have forgotten how to use the magical abilities that are already inside him. I reckon this supports the theory that “Teen” is actually Billy Kaplan, a.k.a. Wiccan, though he may not actually be aware of his true identity, real purpose, and connection to the Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness. There is clear evidence that solidifies my thoughts about “Teen’s” sigil.

Teen Has Demonstrated Significant Power In Agatha All Along Already

In order to put the sigil on himself, “Teen” would need a great deal of knowledge and power, and he has already proven that he has these impressive traits in Agatha All AlongWhile “Teen” plays dumb about many aspects of witchcraft and the occult, his intense research and study has made him one of the most knowledgeable members of Agatha Harkness’ coven. Beyond that, his notebook is filled with some extremely powerful spells, even as obscure as how to summon a witch, and it looks to me as though “Teen” has some untapped innate power, too.

Joe Locke’s “Teen” is heavily speculated to be Billy Kaplan, the reincarnated version of Billy Maximoff. Maximoff was portrayed by Julian Hilliard as a ten-year-old in WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness .

In Agatha All Along episode 1, “Seekest Thou the Road,” “Teen” helps to loosen the Scarlet Witch’s spell on Agatha Harkness. This proves an incredible amount of power in “Teen,” making me think that he doesn’t actually need the Witches’ Road to give him magical abilities, but he actually already has them. This supports my idea that he may have placed the sigil on himself, and I think I’ve also worked out exactly why he might have done this, as he surely needs Agatha Harkness and the other witches to survive the Witches’ Road.

Teen May Have Placed The Sigil On Himself To Seek Agatha Harkness’ Help

There’s one clear reason why “Teen” would place the sigil on himself. If he is Billy Kaplan, he may have wanted to access the Witches’ Road with the goal of resurrecting his mother, the Scarlet Witch. To do this, he needed a powerful coven, and he surely would have known Agatha Harkness had walked the Road before, making her top of the list. I doubt Agatha would have helped “Teen” had she known his true origin and purpose, hence the sigil, and this will surely create some intense and emotional moments in the upcoming episodes of Agatha All Along.
