American Horror Story: Delicate introduced two more women in black, but there are clues as to who may be behind the mysterious costumes. The first two women in black have appeared throughout season 12, following Emma Roberts’ Anna Alcott from afar. Delicate episode 4 directly confirmed the identities of this initial pair during the Mary Tudor opening scene. In the flashback scene, Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman were revealed as the American Horror Story season 12 characters wearing the creepy black costumes before taking Mary’s baby away as part of a deal.

The characters later appeared as “The Ashleys” (or Ashleigh in Grossman’s case), a PR team Siobhan hired to help rescue Anna’s public image. The scenes featuring the women in black suggested they’re part of a satanic cult in Hollywood, which is something Preecher suspects. However, American Horror Story: Delicate episode 5 revealed there are actually four women in black. Now, it’s a question of who else is working alongside The Ashleys as the women in black.

Why AHS: Delicate’s Other 2 Women In Black Could Be Siobhan & Nicolette

Siobhan initially seemed like an elite publicist since she was as supportive of Anna’s personal life as she was of her career. However, something shifted in American Horror Story: Delicate episode 5. Siobhan had begun acting very suspiciously and hadn’t been as nice to Anna as she was at the start of the season. She even seemed to pressure Anna to choose between being a mother or winning an Oscar. However, the biggest sign that she could be a part of the women in black was after up-and-coming actress Babette Eno won the Golden Globe over Anna, the young actress who was killed in a car crash.

At the same time that Anna found out the news, she saw her phone ringing, with Siobhan’s name appearing on her screen. If Siobhan would do anything to boost Anna’s career, she could be responsible for Babette’s death. Nicolette had also been acting suspiciously, and in American Horror Story: Delicate episode 5, she was acting very cold toward Sonia, teasing she could be another woman in black. Sonia looks identical to Dex’s ex-wife, Adeline, and Anna had been suspicious about the odd physical similarities since she met her. Something may have happened between Nicolette and Adeline or Sonia that relates to the cult that could cause her to be so disturbed by Sonia’s presence.

Dex’s Connection To The Women In Black Explains Why Anna Is Being Targeted

If Dex has a connection to the women in black, this could explain why they’re going after Anna. It’s possible that Adeline was originally a part of the cult but left in order to be with Dex. As a result, the cult is now messing with Anna to get back at him and ruin his chance at a family. This could also explain Nicolette’s attitude toward Sonia because Nicolette might still be a part of the cult, and she’s angry that Adeline left. Dex’s mother has also appeared in season 12 with a connection of her own to something satanic, which could be linked to Dex’s father being involved in the cult. Only time will tell when American Horror Story: Delicate returns from hiatus for part 2.
