With Robert Downey Jr. returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom, it seems that his threat might have been in Agatha All Along!

It was indeed a shocking moment when Agatha Harkness was revealed to be the antagonist in the 2022 TV show WandaVision (through a catchy song, of course). Naturally, the world received a spin-off titled Agatha All Along.

One iconic theory, however, states that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will face off against an iconic character from the 2024 spin-off when both worlds will collide in the MCU with Avengers: Doomsday.

What Happened to Wanda in Doctor Strange 2?

Reading the Darkhold didn’t turn out to be the best of ideas for Wanda Maximoff as she turned into the Scarlet Witch. Haunting America Chavez and Doctor Strange across universes, Wanda and Strange have a beautiful fight at the end of the 2022 film.

Well, a tower collapses on Wanda Maximoff’s Scarlet Witch and the fight ends. However, before the black screen appears, we see a red glimmer of light. This could mean a plethora of things, however, this could also mean a connection to Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

According to a theory, when Wanda gets defeated at the hands of Doctor Strange and America Chavez, Doctor Doom (aka Victor Von Doom) sees his chance. When it is assumed that Wanda Maximoff had died at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it could be said that she simply teleported to a different universe.

Now, this is where things get really interesting. Wanda gets Amnesia (according to the comics) and Doctor Doom alters her memories to join his side. The duo works together to succeed in Doom’s plan to annihilate Earth and the universe as we know it. With the Scarlet Witch joining hands with Doctor Doom, who would be powerful enough to stop them? Surprisingly, the answer lies with the 2024 MCU show Agatha All Along.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Threat Was In Agatha All Along

No, it’s not Agatha Harkness. But the threat that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom might be facing in Avengers: Doomsday might be none other than Billy Maximoff.

The whole reason why Wanda Maximoff went on this rampage was because she had to sacrifice her imagined reality (and her two sons with Vision) in WandaVision. Scarlet Witch was just a mother wanting to go back to her children and live out her days in peace.

However, that wasn’t the case but in Agatha All Along, we see Billy Maximoff get reincarnated in the character of William Kaplan (or Teen). If Downey Jr. were to return with Wanda Maximoff by his side, Billy Maximoff could very well find her mother in Scarlet Witch which would eventually make her regain her memory.

This little emotional moment between Maximoff and her son could make the whole plan backfire on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It would also probably be one of the rare W moments for Wanda Maximoff ever since she got a hold of the Darkhold.

Although millions of fans would surely like to see the iconic actress return and take on the role of Wanda Maximoff, nothing can be confirmed or denied at the moment. WandaVision and Agatha All Along are available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S.
