Agatha All Along introduced a character we all expected to see: Billy Kaplan, also known as Billy Maximoff or Wiccan. As you might know, Billy Maximoff is the reincarnated son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision.

In the comics, Wiccan has a complicated backstory. While married to Vision, Scarlet Witch used her powers to create twin boys, William and Thomas, from two lost souls. Later, a demon named Mephisto took those souls back, but they were changed by Wanda’s magic and ended up destroying him.

William’s soul was then reborn in Billy Kaplan, the oldest son of Jeff Kaplan, a heart doctor, and Rebecca Kaplan, a psychologist. The MCU storyline is similar, making Billy Kaplan’s family history quite messy.

Check out the image below:

Billy’s family on his mom’s side is pretty simple. His uncle is Pietro Maximoff, also known as Quicksilver, and his grandparents are Olek and Iryna Maximoff.

On his dad’s side, things get messy because Vision is an android. In the MCU, Vision was created by Ultron with help from Helen Cho, which means both Ultron and Helen are basically Billy’s grandparents.

Remember when Thor used Mjölnir to send lightning into the Cradle while J.A.R.V.I.S. was being uploaded into Vision’s body? That lightning helped bring Vision to life, so you could also say Thor is a grandparent to Billy since he helped create Vision along with Ultron and Cho.

Tony Stark and Bruce Banner could be seen as Billy’s great-grandparents because they were the ones who created Ultron, which turned out to be one of their biggest mistakes.

As for J.A.R.V.I.S., he doesn’t count as a separate being because he is now part of Vision, which is why he’s not mentioned.

Billy’s family tree might get even more complicated in the MCU when Tommy comes back, depending on how they decide to bring him back.
