As players find themselves immersed in its intricate world, it becomes clear that the game is more than just a visual spectacle but requires them to be methodical and skillful to overcome the challenges. In Black Myth: Wukong, players take on the mantle of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, and follow his journey as he navigates through a visually stunning world filled with mythical creatures. Players need to overcome these mythical bosses in intense combat that requires patience and skill. As players reach the final boss, often considered the most difficult boss, they are tested to their absolute limits.
However, the player, known as Syrobevt, defeated the said final boss in a single move, which did over 15000 damage, not only setting a world record but also shocking the whole community. To achieve this monumental task, the player devised a plan that involved precise timing, optimal gear, and a deep understanding of the game’s internal mechanics like critical chance and buff stacking.
The meticulous planning involves unlocking a specific spell and gear. The spell in question is called Spell Binder, which allows players to consume all of their mana in an instant but boasts their every stat (including critical chance). Along with this spell, players crafted the Pilgrim Set gear and refined it to Mythical status to gain even more attack stat, then fought the boss multiple times to finally get that one boosted hit (in one of the attempts).
After watching the clip, the community is very excited and can’t wait to try out this strategy themselves. This methodical planning highlights the depth the game possesses in terms of combat mechanics, allowing players to let their creativity flow and try out different approaches to achieve a single goal.
Future Looking bright for the Game

Black Myth: Wukong continues to showcase the potential of single-player games with its breathtaking graphics and engaging gameplay. The record-breaking feats like these will only elevate the game’s appeal even more and encourage a thriving and passionate community that is creative and willing to innovate.
Game Science is already pushing various updates in an attempt to address some of the issues currently present in the game. It has also indicated that the game will continue to expand in the future with more new content and challenges that will inspire even more players to attempt to shock the world with jaw-dropping records.
Recent rumors suggest that the developers are already working on a DLC that’s set to release in early-mid 2025, which will expand the world and its narrative. Furthermore, Game Science is also taking its time to develop this DLC to deliver an even greater experience, showing its commitment to player experience.
In the end, as players gear up to challenge the bosses and attempt to break past their limits, one thing is clear: this game will continue to inspire and astonish for years to come.
