Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is destined to revive its franchise but its maps might become an obstacle to that.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has just been released. Now that the Modern Warfare trilogy is finished, COD can continue where Call of Duty: Cold War left off. Every time a new COD game is released, nostalgia strikes. This time, the game is going to redefine the franchise with its new overhaul movement mechanics.

Last time, fans weren’t very happy about Cold War. So, Activision is rooting for BO6 to revive the Black Ops universe, to the heights of the Modern Warfare universe. However, it seems things are not going in the way they planned.

Recently, a dedicated Call of Duty fan shared his frustrations on Reddit about the recently launched game. As per him, Black Ops 6 is the “worst COD” game he has ever played. This is actually a very big claim, although he put the reasons for this brave comment as well.
The fan stated that he can’t even use the AK-47 in the game as it takes too much time to ADS. He also didn’t like the red dot sight as well. However, the most he hates about the game is its maps. According to him, Activision didn’t implement any measures to stop the campers. So, it’s pretty hard for the players to survive in the battle royale. Not only this fan, but others are disgusted as well.
This fan clearly reveals the scenario of the recently launched game and prefers to fight the real battle instead of just running around and eventually being killed by a camper.
According to this fan, actually, the news maps cater to more fast-paced gameplay, which older COD players can’t relate to
This fan too doesn’t like the BO6 maps, especially Vorkuta.
This fan loves the game but equally hates the maps.
People are absolutely disappointed about the maps of Black Ops 6. Although, as the Omni-movement is here, it doesn’t matter how much knowledge you have about the map. The game right now features a total of 16 maps, but none of them is showing any kind of hope to the fans. The fan also stated that Cold War, the last good Black Ops game he has ever played, might be because of one unique feature.
Maps Aren’t the Real Problem of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Map experience in any game is an essential component for success. The more in-depth knowledge you have about the map you are playing in, the more you have an edge over the loopholes and chokepoints. However, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, that is not the case.
A fan on Reddit has vented out his frustration about the Omni-movement feature in the game. If you know the spawn points in the maps, you can predict the probable position of the enemies so that you can pick an angle to secure that. But with the presence of Omni-movement, players can be anywhere now.
With the new movement mechanics, players have become ultra-fast and can change their locations in the blink of an eye, that too over longer distances. Also, in previous Call of Duty titles, you could dictate the potential timing of enemy engagement.
But as players are now fast, you might have to face random fights with your enemies. As per the fan, the new game is all about “mindless running around, and you just have to expect to get slide cancel bunny hop peeked around every corner.”
