If not, don’t worry, because this will remind you. So, what’s all the fuss about? Apparently, there’s a rumor—Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith allegedly tried to rope Lopez into a threesome while she was dating Diddy.

Diddy was even caught off guard by Jimmy Kimmel’s surprise question regarding this uncanny rumor. The former’s expression was a sight to behold—he looked so flabbergasted. But to everyone’s surprise, the rapper, 54, denied knowing anything about the whole situation.

Diddy, Will Smith & the Curious Case of the Threesome Rumor

During an earlier visit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel threw Diddy a curveball that left him utterly speechless. The host decided to dig up an old gossip involving Diddy’s ex, Jennifer Lopez, and Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith. According to the grapevine, while Diddy was dating the On the Floor hitmaker, Smith and his wife allegedly tried to recruit her for a little threesome escapade.

Kimmel wasted no time in getting to the juicy details. He asked:

I saw a guy on the internet the other day who said he used to be your security guard, who said when you were dating J.Lo, Will Smith and Jada tried to pick her up for a threesome, and you were going to beat up Will Smith. Is that true?

Diddy was taken aback when Jimmy Kimmel asked him about the rumor during the latter’s show.

For a moment, Diddy just stared at Kimmel, his silence echoing louder than a bombshell dropping in a quiet room. Finally, he broke the silence with a quip:

This show has gotten crazier since the last time I was here.

Clearly, the question caught him off guard. The Last Night singer then followed up with a playful, “No, you really heard that?” as Kimmel responded:

Yeah, I watched it on the internet. You’re telling me I can’t believe everything I read?

Diddy, still reeling, shot back:

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Jimmy, I thought we were friends.

Ah, the internet—a treasure trove of facts, fiction, and everything in between! Clearly, the confusion was tangible, and the audience couldn’t help but chuckle at Diddy’s mix of disbelief and amusement.

The Origins of This Threesome Rumor That Keeps on Giving

The rumor originated from an interview with Diddy’s ex-security guard, Gene Deal.

The rumor Jimmy Kimmel referenced didn’t just come out of thin air. It was sparked by an interview on The Art of Dialogue podcast featuring Diddy’s former security guard, Gene Deal. According to the latter, it all began at a birthday bash thrown by none other than Matt Damon for Ben Affleck.

Deal reminisced, painting a picture of a veritable who’s who of Tinseltown:

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Puff, Will Smith, and Jada were sitting on one side of the room.

But it was Diddy who suddenly felt the heat in the room as Dead recalled:

[Puff] stood up. And when he stood up, he walked and did his arms a certain kind of way like [crossing them]. I go over towards him and he said to me, ‘Yo, I think Will and Jada are trying to scoop up Jennifer. I want you to stay close ’cause I’am snuff him’.

Deal couldn’t help but chuckle as he recounted this moment, admitting that he thought Will Smith might actually give Diddy a run for his money in a fight.

Diddy and Jennifer Lopez dated for two years before parting ways in 2001, announcing their breakup on none other than Valentine’s Day (see ABC News). Meanwhile, last year, Pinkett Smith revealed that she and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star have been living apart since 2016. But they have no plans to throw in the towel on their marriage anytime soon!
