As you might expect, there are a lot of rumors and stories circulating concerning her comeback. We first learned that a solo film was being developed, but the project was reportedly abandoned. We don’t really know much about the recent reports that surfaced regarding Wanda playing a significant part in the future Avengers films, but it’s safe to say that everything seems to point to her return.
Now, after numerous rumors, you can now rest as we can officially confirm that Elizabeth Olsen is returning to the role of Scarlet Witch in the MCU, and while it might not be in the way you want it to be, it certainly is a solid starting point and we love it.
Remember how Marvel announced the Marvel Zombies animated series? It will be a spin-off from the popular zombie episode of What If…? and many of the fans are excited to see how Marvel will handle this interesting story.
At this point, there are still a lot of question marks surrounding the said series, but information is slowly leaking and according to the most recent social media reports, one major character has been confirmed as the series’ main villain, which will also mark the return of one of the MCU’s best performers. As you can see, Zombie Scarlet Witch, The Dead Queen, is going to be the main villain of Marvel Zombies and it seems that Elizabeth Olsen is coming back to voice the character, which is great. The fans have been demanding her return, and while this is not the return they had in mind, it is a good starting point that might open up opportunities later in the future.
