In an ideal world, every cast member of Love Is Blind UK would have appeared on the show for true love, but a lot of them seem to think Sam had an ulterior motive. There’s always one cast member who’s accused of only appearing on the show for fame and this year Sam has been chosen due to a lot of his “off-screen” behaviour. Drop the full unedited cut of this show, I beg you Netflix.
So, let’s have a look at every Love Is Blind UK cast member who has accused Sam of only appearing on the show for fame, and every brutal thing they’ve said about his intentions. It’s about to get beefy.
Benaiah and Nicole
In an interview with Heat, the pair revealed there was a lot that viewers didn’t see which happened off camera, explaining: “So, based off everything that I’ve now seen on the show, and based off everything I’ve seen off camera as well, I don’t necessarily think that the way he treated me implied that he was there for love or for me alone.”
Benaiah added: “There’s a lot of things he said and did off camera, stuff that wasn’t shown, that I think would give people a very clear bigger picture.”
Freddie
“Obviously I love them both like Ben’s my best friend, and he should be more mindful because there’s a lot we haven’t seen and a lot off-camera that doesn’t align with my values and things that I’ve seen. So I don’t believe he was there for real reasons, and I think that he has probably deprived someone of an opportunity. You know somebody who was willing to kind of meet somebody and find a partner, so that was very disappointing.
“But I don’t want to see him get hate. I don’t want to see anyone get hate, so it’s not nice. The only thing I would say is I don’t think it’s fair for him to mock the situation because those are real feelings and emotions like Nick went through a lot, and so did Benaiah.”
Tom
During an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, one Love Is Blind UK viewer asked Tom a very savage question regarding the rest of the cast’s feelings about Sam. The Redditor asked: “Does the cast agree that Sam sucks? Did they cut out Catherine being asked about flirting with Sam at the mixer from the reunion? Who are you still friends with from the cast?”
Sam had some very choice words to describe his co-star. He replied: “Ahhhh Sam is a complicated man. I think he’s someone who desperately needs to find validation from other people due to his own insecurities, and that meant that he came into the experiment wanting to be a version of himself that other people wanted, rather than being authentically himself.
“And that’s why he ended up getting so much heat. He obviously needs to do some work to go and find out who he truly is and work on some of his less desirable characteristics, but hell, we all do!” Yowza, what a brutal response.
