Fallout 4 Has A Super Secret Room We Definitely Weren’t Supposed To Find

Fallout 4 has a super secret room we definitely weren't supposed to find

You might be thinking, if you’ve played a significant amount, that you’ve seen everything there is to see in Fallout 4.

The successful Fallout game has been out for many years, and despite the size of it, dedicated players will have completed every quest and seen every item, but there’s one room that Bethesda didn’t plan on you seeing.

You can’t get to this room by simply exploring, it requires a workaround, and it’s only available for PC players to see.

There’s an intriguing room stashed away in the world called the developer room, and it contains every item found within the game.

Fallout 4 players can get access using a console command within the game.

To get there, simply press your ~ (tilde) key to access your console commands. Once the game’s console commands have been brought up, type “COC QASMOKE.”

Once entered, you’ll be transported to a run-down town square littered with items – every single item in the game, in fact.

Sadly, console players won’t be able to enter and explore, but if you’re playing on PC, you can visit today.

But just what is the developer room?

Well, according to fans over on Reddit, it exists for the developers to try out each item in the game while they’re testing it.

“A dev room is a room that contains every single item in the game, it’s made for testing things, because when devs are developing the game they run through the game multiple times, and the dev room saves a lot of time,” explains 24andahalfcentury.

During development, you can imagine Bethesda devs spending time in here, combining item use, testing the boundaries of the game world.

There is also, apparently, a developer room in Fallout 76, too. It seems to be something common in Bethesda games, which isn’t surprising as they use similar frameworks for each title.
