Agatha All Along released its last two episodes, and they were both sad and sweet. We correctly guessed that Agatha would die at the end of the show, but she’s not really gone—unlike her coven members, who the showrunner confirmed are truly gone.
One coven member who survived the events of the Witches Road is Jennifer Kale. In episode 8, it is revealed that Jennifer has lost her magical powers because Agatha had bound her a hundred years ago.
Jennifer finally confronted Agatha after all this time, and during the Green trial, she managed to free herself from Agatha’s spell. Witches Road helped her find what she was looking for, and she quickly disappeared from the trial room, only to show up in Westview later. It’s confirmed that Jennifer has her powers back, which means if Wiccan’s (and Agatha’s) story continues on the big screen, we can expect Jennifer to return too.
You might know that Agatha All Along created some characters just for the show, but Jennifer is not one of them. In the comics, she is connected to Ghost Rider, one of the most important characters in Marvel’s supernatural stories.
Jennifer Kale is related to two Ghost Riders: Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch, who are her cousins through Noble Kale, one of the first Ghost Riders ever. Jennifer is also very powerful, which is why she was once a member of the Midnight Sons, a superhero team that is rumored to join the MCU soon.
Jennifer has appeared in different comic series where she often battles demons, spirits, and other magical creatures. We can expect to see this side of her in the MCU too.
So far, the show hasn’t mentioned the connection between Jennifer Kale and Ghost Rider. One version of Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but he isn’t related to Jennifer, and we’re pretty sure he’s not the Ghost Rider the MCU will focus on.
It’s also interesting that Jennifer was the one who mentioned Mephisto in episode 3, suggesting she already has ties to that part of the MCU.
