It is reported that his stepfather, who had control over his earnings, stole and squandered all the money he made from acting.

Veal also revealed his struggles with autism, ADHD, bipolar psychosis, challenges that have made navigating his situation even harder. After leaving his abusive home, he tried staying with his grandparents, but his grandfather’s severe illness made it impossible for him to remain there. In the video he said,

Hi, I am a famous actor, I’m 17, and I’m homeless. I haven’t mentioned much about what’s going on with my life, but I feel it is time to reveal the truth. Not delving too much into the details, I was abused at home, there was physical violence, emotional abuse, etc. I didn’t have a very good upbringing.

Currently, Veal is living in a trailer with smashed windows, no electricity, and far from his work, two hours to be exact. Despite reaching out to social services for support, he says they have refused to help him.
