Hollywood’s rising star Jenna Ortega, known for her roles in the Scream revival, Netflix’s Wednesday, and the recent Beetlejuice sequel, is now catching the eye of Marvel Studios. Reports from MTTSH indicate that she’s currently in discussions for a role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although details about the character are still under wraps.

While Marvel often meets with various talents, the fact that Ortega is in negotiation talks suggests we might hear more from official entertainment news sources soon. However, it’s important to remember that nothing is set in stone yet.

Ortega has a packed schedule, including lead roles in Taika Waititi’s upcoming adaptation of Klara and the Sun and an untitled project by Trey Edward Shults alongside The Weeknd and Barry Keoghan. She’s also involved in A24’s Death of a Unicorn with Paul Rudd and Francisca Alegría’s Alba.

Previously, there was speculation about Ortega possibly playing White Tiger in Daredevil: Born Again, but that remains unconfirmed.
