Teen (Joe Locke) sad and disappointed in Agatha in Agatha All Along Season 1 Episode 5Joe Locke shares what the Marvel Cinematic Universe audience can look forward to next with Wiccan after the big identity twist in Agatha All Along. With the Agatha All Along TV show more than halfway through its run, the clock is ticking for Agatha Harkness and her new coven of witches. However, like many MCU series with their surprises, the Agatha All Along episode 5 ending left the audience finally getting a massive mystery confirmed after a very long time of speculating.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Locke opened up more about his experience witnessing the world finally learn that Teen was none other than Marvel’s Wiccan. While sharing what he was going through the night Agatha All Along episode 5 was released on Disney+, Locke also teased the larger future for Wiccan in the MCU, stating the following:

I’m in the U.K. The episode drops at 2:00 a.m. I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep, so I’m just going to drug myself and then wake up to my phone blowing up, which it did. The thing that I’ve kept so secret, guarding it with my life is now just in the ether. The show starts with Billy being very much the familiar, the secondary to all the witches. Now we know he is also a witch, and that changes things. Also, we now know that he has the ability to cause harm to them. Therefore, he is now the most powerful person on the Road. What does that change in the dynamic of the group and how does that change the future of those relationships?

Seeing Agatha All Along’s teases of Wiccan before Teen’s real identity was revealed was interesting, especially as passionate MCU fans already believed the character was Wiccan long before the twist itself was revealed. It didn’t help that Agatha All Along merchandise gave away the mystery only a few weeks before episode 5 was released on Disney+, especially as Locke has had to keep the whole Wiccan mystery under wraps in all of his interviews. However, now that it is out in the open, Locke’s comments make it clear that this is just the beginning for the beloved Marvel hero.

If Wiccan is meant to be this big of a power player through the rest of Agatha All Along, it will definitely present some fascinating obstacles for Agatha herself. Even though it remains to be seen how his power set compares to his mother, MCU fans have already seen how it went for Agatha the first time around when dealing with the Scarlet Witch, which makes Wiccan’s role here that more intriguing. No matter how Agatha All Along ends, Wiccan’s future in the MCU timeline will be a crucial one to follow after 2024.
