The cast’s chemistry was incredible. Aubrey Plaza’s Lady Death and Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha had intense on-screen sparks, and Agatha showed a protective, caring side toward Billy Maximoff.
The actress shared that she saw Billy Maximoff as a kind of adopted son. This became clear when she compared Billy to her own late son, Nicholas Scratch, in the final episode.
It kinda make sense that I’ve taken on Teen as my surrogate son and want to protect him, even though I can’t show it. I love him and want to protect him at all costs. I feel like that part of Agatha’s self has been buried for a very long time.

It’s amazing. Aubrey is so effortlessly cool, but then you put her in the Death outfit, and she just is like a crazy witch in the best way. It was a fun week of shooting the ending scene.
