Actress Madelyn Cline bids farewell to her character Sarah Cameron as she embraces new opportunities beyond Outer Banks.

Madelyn Cline had all the talent to be a successful actress in the industry. And she kickstarted this journey when she was a preteen herself. What started as participating in talent and modeling shows, quickly escalated to the actress headlining one of the most promising Netflix show out there.

While she had some roles here and there, action-adventure series Outer Banks was the big break she needed to establish her footing in the industry. And from 2020, she has continued to play Sarah Cameron in the project. Now, with the release of the fourth season, Cline is finally ready to say goodbye to Sarah for good.

Madelyn Cline Talks About Outer Banks and Future Roles

For an actor playing diverse roles has always been a priority and nobody likes to be conformed to a single role or character. On the same subject, actress Madelyn Cline as well is ready to bid adieu to her character Sarah Cameron, after season 4 of Outer Banks. Cline has been a part of the show since 2020. And detailed in an interview that it’s the right time to start a new chapter in her life.

In a candid chitchat with C Magazine, the 26-year-old actress shared “One thing I love about the boot camp that is ‘Outer Banks’ is that there’s so much of me that informed my character as I grew up.” And that her character also helped in shaping her as a person and as an actress.

Further, she will always cherish the strong friendship she shared with her fellow castmates. On this, she also added “I feel like I had my unofficial college years with them. They’ve seen me through so much.” Furthermore, the timing of the show’s ending felt right and now “I feel ready to differentiate myself” talking about her acting career.

Besides this, she’s also all set to star in a reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer with Camila Mendes. And is also working on a movie based on the novel The Map That Leads to You by J.P. Monninger. In this she will play the role of Heather Mulgrew.

Madelyn Cline and KJ Apa All Set to Lead a New Rom-Com for Amazon

The worlds of Riverdale and Outer Banks are all set to unite if recent reports by The Hollywood Reporter are to be believed. According to the same, actor KJ Apa is all set to star alongside Madelyn Cline in Amazon MGM Studios’ romantic drama The Map That Leads to You.

The movie also features other known faces such as Sofia Wylie, Madison Thompson and Josh Lucas. Further, the story of the same would center around a young woman played by Cline. Who encounters a mysterious stranger played by Apa, during a post graduate trip across Europe.

The screenplay of the movie is penned by Les Bohem known for Shut Eye, and Vera Herbert from This is Us. Further, it’s based on the novel of J.P. Monninger and would be directed by Lasse Hallstrom, popularly known for his work on Dear John.
