Joining the long list of big reveals at The Game Awards 2024 is the first full-length trailer for Mafia: The Old Country.

We’ve been waiting to get a proper first look at this stunning new game in the popular franchise, and let me just say, the wait was worth it.

It was short and sweet, but, much like with Sabrina Carpenter, we got all the goods we needed in its brief appearance.

And not only did we get a full length trailer for the first time, we also have a rough release window: summer 2025.

Next year is going to be a busy one – and we thought 2024 had been rammed full of incredible games.

Of course, we’re all wondering if Mafia: Old Country can out hype GTA VI… It feels unlikely, but hey, you never know.

But let’s not pit these games against one another because they’re both bangers in their own rights.

Although GTA VI has already won an award before it’s even been released.

We’ll have to wait until The Game Awards 2025 to see if Mafia: The Old Country can win an award or several.

The near-photorealistic graphics of this new 2K Games experience is truly breathtaking to look at.

Even if you’re not an avid Mafia fan, there’s no way you can watch this trailer and not be ready to join this family.

As we previously mentioned, there’s no specific date for release, and so we’ve got some speculating and theorising to do to try and narrow down the month of its launch.
