For MCU fans, Morena Baccarin is best known for her role in the Deadpool movies, where she plays Wade’s girlfriend, Vanessa. She has appeared in all the films so far. In Deadpool & Wolverine, the two are broken up, but their past relationship is a big reason why Deadpool tries to better himself and save his reality from disappearing.
Fans have wanted Vanessa to take on a superhero role in the franchise, especially as Copycat, since that would fit well with her character’s story in the comics. The actress is also excited about this possibility and is hoping it will happen.

Copycat, whose real name is Vanessa Carlysle, is a mutant in Marvel Comics known for her ability to copy how others look and their powers. She first appeared in New Mutants #98 and is often linked to Deadpool, with whom she has a complicated romantic relationship.
There has been a lot of discussion about bringing Copycat to the screen for years. Director Tim Miller wanted to include her in Deadpool 2 before he left the project, which would have added an interesting twist to Wade and Vanessa’s relationship and given actress Morena Baccarin a bigger role.
Many fans think Vanessa hasn’t been used well since her first appearance, especially after a controversial part in Deadpool 2, so it would be exciting to see Baccarin in a larger action role in the MCU.
The MCU is planning to introduce the X-Men and other mutants soon, but it’s not likely that Vanessa will be included. She might appear in Deadpool 4, but nothing is known about that sequel yet, as both Deadpool and Wolverine are expected to be in other MCU projects.
