Netflix fans went wild this week after spotting one of Hollywood’s most beloved real-life couples filming together for the upcoming second season of Man on the Inside.

The streaming giant recently confirmed that Mary Steenburgen will be joining her husband of 30 years Ted Danson on the hit comedy series.

Danson stars as Charles, a widowed retiree who gets a ‘new lease on life’ when he secretly teams up with a private investigator to solve a case inside a senior living community.

According to Netflix, Steenburgen will play ‘a former musician who factors heavily into the case Charles is trying to solve.’

The show has been a fan favorite since its November debut, earning Danson Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for his performance as the charming amateur sleuth.

Now, fans are buzzing over the iconic couple’s onscreen reunion, after the two were spotted filming in Los Angeles on Wednesday — walking side by side and appearing in high spirits while shooting scenes outdoors.

And social media quickly lit up as news of their onscreen reunion spread.

‘That sounds like a fascinating storyline! Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson together again should be wonderful,’ one fan gushed.

Another simply celebrated the show’s return, writing, ‘Season 2 yasssssss.’

A third chimed in, ‘I’ve always appreciated her, but I especially love her in Stepbrothers.’

Danson and Steenburgen’s love story dates back to 1983, when they met during his audition to play her husband in Cross Creek.

While they remained friends for a decade, sparks finally flew in 1993 while filming Pontiac Moon.

They tied the knot two years later.

This isn’t their first time sharing the screen — they’ve previously appeared together in Curb Your Enthusiasm, It Must Be Love, Gulliver’s Travels, and more.
