Marvel fans, there’s exciting news about the upcoming Vision series set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026! In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Bettany shared that the series is slated to start production next year.

He expressed his enthusiasm and also mentioned that he’s been catching up on the ‘WandaVision’ spinoff, ‘Agatha All Along.’ Bettany finds the spinoff insightful and plans to rewatch it to prepare for his role in the Vision series.

He said, ‘I love it and I’m so proud of Jac Schaeffer, and I am going to watch again because there’s so much for me to learn moving forward into my contribution.’

The new series, tentatively named ‘Vision Quest,’ picks up from where ‘WandaVision’ left off, following Vision’s quest for his identity after being seen last in his white robotic form.

Although initially announced with Jac Schaeffer as the showrunner, it has since been updated that Terry Matalas will now lead the project. Despite stepping down, Schaeffer has expressed her support for the series and Bettany.

Adding to the anticipation, James Spader is confirmed to reprise his role as Ultron from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ Furthermore, Todd Stashwick, known for his work in ‘Star Trek: Picard’ and ’12 Monkeys,’ will join the cast as an assassin targeting Vision.

The extent of ‘Agatha All Along’s influence on the Vision series remains unclear, though Bettany hints at significant revelations from the spinoff that might impact his series.

While no specific plot details have emerged, the potential inclusion of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and connections to the 1980s ‘Vision Quest’ storyline from the ‘West Coast Avengers’ comics are widely speculated.
