Stranger Things released a video clip on Twitter sharing the progress of the show and a few words from every key cast member. Sadie Sink, who plays Max Mayfield, said, “We’re just kind of savoring every single moment,” while Vecna actor Jamie Campbell Bower teased, “Season four was big. Season five definitely feels bigger.”

The main characters were unfortunately split apart in the fourth installment. While it was necessary for the story, many viewers felt that the magic was gone. After all, it was the unwavering friendship of the characters that made the series worth watching.

Season 5 will fix this as the new video reveals the original main characters will be teaming up again. Finn Wolfhard said, “I’m excited to have scenes with the original four.” Now, this promises exciting scenes as fans totally missed seeing them all together.

The Duffer Brothers also shared in their interview with The Guardian how Season 5 will be different from the previous ones.

This season – it’s like season one on steroids. It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one.

There may be spinoffs as well, the directors confirmed. However, they reiterated that “the story of Eleven and Dustin and Lucas and Hopper, their stories are done here.” Well, it was a great and unforgettable run.
