The PlayStation Plus catalogue is looking pretty good this month, with subscribers sharing what they’d consider to be underrated gems that need to be played.

There are a lot to choose from and more and more get added every time, like this month’s latest additions and the Essential games planned for December.

One such game is It Takes Two, which will be free to download next month for all subscribers

We’ve even gotten some fantastic additions to PlayStation Plus Premium, and Capcom fans will be happy to hear the OG Resident Evil and Dino Crisis are now purchasable games rather than being restricted to cloud-streaming.

That said there are several games that slip through the cracks into obscurity, especially the games PlayStation deems not exciting enough to market for PlayStation Plus.

Fear not though as several subscribers have come together to share what they believe to be severely underrated games you need to play if you have the service.

Scouring through the thread one game stood out amongst the rest, as one of the top comments read: “A Plague Tale. Ended up really enjoying it and bought the sequel when it came out, might have missed it if not.”

The game’s description reads: “Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other.”

It was slept on when it first released which is exactly why you should give it a try now via PlayStation Plus.

If you’re not subscribed though there is a free trial you can nab instead that’ll also be available on other platforms if you want to try it there rather than on PlayStation.
