Agatha All Along has been doing great and will definitely become a very important and intriguing part of the MCU, which is definitely interesting to note. The series has currently shown five of its nine episodes, and the mystery surrounding Agatha and the Witches’ Road is becoming bigger and more intriguing, which is great.

At the same time, as the plot of the series progresses, the fans are still wondering whether Scarlet Witch will make an appearance in the series. We know that Agatha All Along is a spin-off of WandaVision, so fans are naturally curious whether Wanda, whose son also appears in the series, will make a return.

And while the character’s fate is up in the air, as we know, post-Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the rumors are saying a variety of things. Agatha All Along seems to be teasing us with Wanda references high and wide, as Episode 4 of the series showed us.

Episode 4 of Agatha All Along, titled “If I Can’t Reach You / Let My Song Teach You”, aired on October 2, 2024, and while it’s been some time since the episode, we think that it is worth revisiting since the episode contained a major tease related to Wanda.

We have written on several occasions that there is a possibility that Elizabeth Olsen’s character could make a return to the series. We saw what is supposed to be her corpse, and the series seemingly confirmed her death early on, but since then, there have been numerous references to the character in later episodes, which is why this is a very interesting fact to note.

The cast and crew members haven’t been completely clear, as no one directly denied or confirmed Wanda’s cameo in the series. However, we do know that showrunner Jac Schaeffer said the following in an earlier interview:

There was a lot of consideration. That’s a great way of articulating it: her shadow. Agatha is not a character who’s going to stand in anyone’s shadow. So this is emphatically Agatha Harkness’ show.

However, we are in the WandaVision corner of the universe, so Wanda’s legacy has threads in this narrative. But, yeah, it is about Agatha. It’s about her journey, it’s about the truth of her, and that is very much our focus with the show.

So, yes, Agatha All Along will be focused on Agatha, but a cameo by Wanda – especially in light of all the in-series developments – cannot be excluded. As Schaeffer noted, she won’t be the focus of the show, as Agatha won’t allow it in that aspect.

Having said this, we are going back to Episode 4, which made one such reference that we absolutely loved. The reference happened during the 1970s-themed trial when Alice had to perform the famous “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road,” which served as a form of protection and made sense, seeing how Alice is considered to be the protection witch.

While this tune has nothing to do with Wanda, Alice’s record lists a track titled “Red Haired Woman,” which seems to us like another quite apparent nod to Wanda.

We don’t know if this is just a tease or a foreshadowing, but we’re quite excited and want to see what happens.
