Rudy Pankow’s ex Teodora “Teo” Marcella has Outer Banks fans in a frenzy with her latest TikTok video. While showing off how she creates one of her favorite lip looks, Teo slipped in a claim about cheating.
“Today I’m going to be using the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in the shade ‘He Cheated,’” Teo, 25, said in the clip, which was posted on Monday, November 18. However, she quickly corrected herself, adding, “I mean, ‘Lip Cheat.’” From there, she continued on with the video as if the seemingly purposeful “slip” didn’t even happen.
While Teo didn’t name names in the video, fans were quick to flood the comments section with questions about whether she was referencing Rudy, 26, whom she dated before Outer Banks premiered in 2020. The two were an item while he was filming season 1 of the hit Netflix series in 2019. Although it’s unclear exactly when they ended their relationship, Rudy said he was single while promoting the series debut, and he confirmed his romance with now-girlfriend Elaine Siemek in November 2020.
Regardless, fans want to know more about the model’s experience with Rudy. “Someone get this woman on a podcast,” one fan commented. Other comments included, “My jaw is literally on the floor,” “My jaw is nowhere to be found,” and, “this tea is HOT omfg.”
Fans have been dissecting Rudy and Teo’s past relationship after a throwback photo from behind-the-scenes of season 1 of Outer Banks recently went viral. In the large group shot, which was taken at a party for Rudy’s birthday, Elaine, 28, kneeled next to the actor with her arm on his shoulder, while Teo was standing in a completely separate row. Fans didn’t like the idea that Elaine was posing so closely to Rudy while he was in a relationship.
Teo posted a TikTok video on November 16 that seemed to reference the photo in question. “Watching everyone guess what happened based of [sic] one photo from 6 years ago,” she captioned her video. The footage showed Teo doing her makeup while a voiceover said, “I’m not just a bitch, I’m a bitch with a backstory.”
Needless to say, fans immediately started begging Teo for more information about this “backstory,” which appears to have prompted her next video with the “cheating” reference.
Meanwhile, fans have also been putting blame on Elaine for the rumored fallout between Rudy and his Outer Banks costar Madison Bailey. He has defended her from the critics in the past, and she also stood up for herself after fans began flooding her Instagram page with hateful comments when season 4 of Outer Banks premiered in October.
