Accorder to an insider source from Life & Style, Gosling has been allegedly pushing for a possible sequel of the 2023 film. The actor’s popularity skyrocketed after his role as Ken and the source claimed he wanted to bank off it.

Ryan understands just how integral Ken became to the film’s popularity. He knows the impact he had on audiences and is making it clear the sequel won’t be the same without him.

However, the source revealed another possible news related to the potential sequel. According to the claims, the La La Land star allegedly asked for an increased salary for his participation in the second movie.

According to KOIMOI, the movie made $1.4 billion worldwide, the first movie by a female director to cross $1 billion. The report stated Robbie was paid a salary of $12.5 million.

Her production company also owned the IP, so she raked in almost $50 million considering the film’s success. On the other hand, Gosling was paid a massive sum of  $12.5 million.

Though The Nice Guys actor may be allegedly ready for a sequel, no official news has been released. According to Variety, the director will say yes to the project the day she discovers a worthwhile script.
