A brand-new data mine leak has revealed Saber Interactive is planning to bring tons of new additions to Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 alongside armor additions.
In the dark future of the 21st millennium, there might be only war, but Saber Interactive’s latest game, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, showcases that there’s plenty of fun in that as well. Gamers can’t get enough of the latest Warhammer 40k, and the developers have managed to keep the momentum going since its launch with consistent updates.
It’s not even been a month since the game’s reveal, and Saber has given us multiple updates, bringing much-needed quality-of-life additions, balance tweaks, and even more methods to purge Tryanids. However, a new rumor suggests that Saber is planning to shake up the game from the ground up with brand-new additions that’ll make you skip the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Datamine Suggests New Armor Pieces Coming Soon
After the recent release of patch 3.0, data miners dug deep into Space Marine 2files and found what looks like brand-new armor customization pieces, including many gamers who had been hoping to see them in the game for weeks now.
Images for the Mark 6 Corvus and Mark 7 Aquila Astartes helmets were posted on the game’s official subreddit, showing that Saber Interactive is looking to expand the base game’s phenomenal customization beyond the current Mark 10 Tacticus power armor.
The Mark 6, dubbed Corvus after the mighty Primarch of the Raven Guard, was more common during the tragedy of Horus Hersey but still stands quite popular in the community due to its beaky helmet. On the other hand, the Mark 7 Aquilla and its Mark 8 Errant upgrade were quite popular Space Marine power armor patterns in the franchise before the debut of Primaris.
That’s not the end of the story. Another Redditor has revealed that multiple images in the game files that showcase the new customization pieces coming to Space Marine 2 in the October patch.
We can clearly see photos of a number of new weapon skins and winged Dark Angels helmets alongside an armor set. We also have an image for the Salamanders Sniper Rifle skin. All of these things fit right in with what Saber has already announced is releasing in Space Marine 2 with upcoming updates.

Following its release on September 9th, 2024, Space Marine 2 has managed to become a massive hit on Steam, reaching the highest count ever recorded for the franchise. The developers have plans to continue this hot-streak and are already working on a bunch of new additions.
Saber plans to add four unique seasons spread across 2024 and 2025 to the game. The first one gave us PvE lobbies, ultrawide support, and Battle Barge Sparring Arena to the game.

The rest of the seasons coming to the game will follow a similar path, featuring new game modes, missions, weapons, and other exciting in-game content for absolutely free cost!
Although we still don’t have a shred of an idea for seasons third and fourth, it’s rumored that the paid content for Season 2 will be based around Dark Angles, which is Henry Cavill’s favorite Chapter. It’s undoubtedly an exciting time to be a Space Marine fan!
