As you are no doubt already aware, the latest MCU smash series, Agatha All Along, is performing fantastically right now, with both fans and critics praising the WandaVision spin-off series.
The show had multiple title changes before deciding on its current one, as you may be aware, and we have expressed our amazement that it retained the existing title when the broadcast started. On September 18, 2024, the first two episodes of the series made their Disney+ debut, and the series has since been attracting more and more fans.
The series is both quirky and mysterious, effectively continuing the story of Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, from WandaVision, but with a lot of new mysteries, a lot of newly-found darkness, and a lot of questions we want to be answered.
The true identities of the Teen and Rio Vidal, played by Joe Locke and Aubrey Plaza, respectively, are among the biggest mysteries in the show, and while the fans have been speculating, nothing official has been confirmed. Until now. Namely, a piece of Agatha All Along merchandise officially confirms the true identities of these two characters and – we were right all along.
As stated, the identities of the Teen and Rio Vidal have been among the biggest mysteries of the show until now. Not that long ago, Joe Locke, whose character had been heavily rumored to be Wiccan (Wanda’s son), said the following:
One of the things I love about Marvel is you keep all these secrets that are really frustrating at first, especially when you’re doing things like this [press day]. But the reason you keep them is because if you were to tell them, then it wouldn’t have the same effect when it all comes out.
The secrets are secrets for a reason, and Teen’s backstory is an interesting one. If I was able to talk about it now, it would ruin the whole point of the show, and that is what keeps me being able to keep a secret. Otherwise, I’d just tell you everything.

And while his case was more obvious, the true identity of Rio Vidal had been a bigger issue, as there was no clear evidence pointing to a specific character.
All theories were possible, but our most recent theory suggested that she was actually Lady Death – this was based on the teaser from a recent promo video – and the official series-related merchandise has just confirmed both theories are correct:
So, as you can see, the two in question confirm that Rio Vidal is actually “Death,” i.e., Lady Death, and that the Teen is actually Wiccan, as we have assumed. The mystery is finally gone (unless Marvel is intentionally deceiving us), and we can now enjoy the show while knowing who we’re dealing with!
