If you’re still playing Star Wars Outlaws, then Ubisoft has got another little update for you to improve your experience.
Star Wars Outlaws patch 1.5.0 is here, and it means Ubisoft is tweaking, bug squashing, and improving the overall experience.
Headlining the patch is a little festive treat from Ubisoft.
Throughout 12 December to 9 January, if you take a photo on Kijimi as part of the Ubisoft Connect photo challenge, you’ll receive a stripy scarf cosmetic for Nix, to keep them in the festive spirit.
When we get into the nitty gritty of the details, it seems like a lot of work has gone into NPC A.I. as Ubisoft is smoothing transitions for NPCs going in and out of cover, and they’ll also react more realistically to grenades.
You’ll also notice new and improved behaviours for A.I. seeking Kay when she’s hiding in smoke.
Of course, we have the usual bug fixes that will improve the visuals – this includes updates to frame generation and DLSS.
You’ll also notice that some glitches have been worked out of the system, much like the capital ships that sometimes simply wouldn’t spawn in.
A key audio fix has been added to dampen Nix’ footsteps, which will help players focus in those tricky stealth sections, and some NPC voice-overs have had a boost in volume.
It’s business as usual for the team as they continue to improve and fix, bringing the game up to a higher standard of quality which some believe was missing upon launch.
If you’re playing on PS5 you might notice your graphics settings are now broken down into three modes – quality, performance, and balance.
The patch is available now to download if your game isn’t updated automatically.
